Khidma will mark the auspicious occasion of Milad-an-Nabi (peace be
upon him) with a ladies only Milad in Slough. The evening will comprise of nasheeds, poetry recitals and brief lectures on the life and characteristics of the Prophet (peace be upon him). The aim of the evening is to emphasise the importance of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and to show gratitude for his existence. It is a privilege for Khidma to be able to organise such an event and we hope to continue to so do on an annual basis insha'Allah.
Alhamdulillah over 600 sisters and children attended Khidma’s first Annual Mawlid in an effort to show love and gratitude for the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). We were blessed to have two knowledgeable guest speakers who shared their reflections and insights into the life of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Those who attended can testify to the blessing which was felt in the atmosphere that evening.
The Khidma team would like to thank all those who attended. We pray that Allah Most High accepts our efforts to please Him. We hope, with the assistance of our community, that next year’s Mawlid will be just as memorable. Please keep us in your prayers and support us by volunteering, signing up to our mailing list and participating in our future events.
